The Ossenstal is located near Epe, in national park ‘De Veluwe’. Visitors of the restaurant can enjoy the flora and fauna of the Eperholt nature reserve. The forests, heaths and fens of this area are home to many special plant and animal species. When designing the Ossenstal, we wanted the building to form a natural whole with the beautiful wooded area. Thanks to the organic lines and the beautifully covered Sedum roof, the restaurant beautifully blends into the environment.

The restaurant is built according to a green concept respecting the nature it is part of. For example, FSC wood from the municipal forests of Epe has been used for the trusses, frames and the floor. Sheep wool was also used as insulation and clay for the inner walls. It is an energy-efficient building that is insulated with sheep wool. By applying a closed heat / cold extraction system, no supply of gas or other fuel is required for heating the building.

Surface approximately 900 m2.
