The Borger-Odoorn town hall is centrally located in the village of Exloo and involved a major expansion and renovation of the Odoorn town hall. The existing forecourt has been maintained. The town hall has a public garden at the rear, adjacent to the sports fields.

During the renovation and expansion, the old part has undergone a transition, making it fit into the whole. The wavy facades and roof lines, the materialisation and the earthly colours are continued in this. Only at the rear of the building is the design of an earlier expansion from the 1980’s still recognisable.

The forecourt consists of a lawn with flowers and large trees. The terrain is somewhat raised compared to the road. The difference in height is absorbed by a brick wall. To the left of the town hall is a fairly narrow green zone, next to a parking area. On the right side the supply takes place via a paved road. Behind are a garden with ponds and a terrace in front of the restaurant.
