Official Opening Health Care Center “De Wartburg”

AxionContinu is proud to announce that the renewed ‘’Wartburg’’ was officially opened on the 1st of November 2012.

The building was taken into use in the summer of 2012 after a building period of 1,5 years. The original historical white building of the ‘’Wartburg’’ from 1942 has been fluently connected to the new building. The official opening will be done by Miss Marlies Veldhuijzen van Zanten-Hyllner (State Secretary for Health, Welfare and Sport).

In cooperation with artist from the group ‘’Het Wilde Westen’’ is a special program prepared. With the history of ‘’De Wartburg’’ until present time as a theme.

Official opening primary school “Het Bovenland”

A proximally one year ago primary school ‘’Het Bovenland’’ opened it’s doors to the schoolchildren, teachers and everyone else who works at the school. But up until the 19th of October 2012 it had not officially been opened. After this first year, the building has proven itself to its users and everything looks as new as it did then!

The alderman, the architect, the contractor and directors of other schools were present at the official part of the opening by CEO Diana Middelkoop. The children had special activities in the morning and it was possible to enter and take a look inside the school for everyone who was curious to see it.

It was a great opening and very good to see and hear the enjoyment the building gives the children, employees and the neighborhood. A neighborhood where, at first, many suspiciously looked at the plans and construction of a school on the border to an ecological zone.
